The Garden at Les Roches
Situated on the edge
of a bastide village, we have the best of both worlds, walkable to the
village boulangerie, but once you drop down into the valley garden you
could be in the middle of no-where. Our guests always comment on the privacy
and beauty of the gardens.
Unlike many properties, where all you have is grass, Les Roches has a
bit of everything. The bamboo glade is perfect for cool and shady relaxation,
the fully tiled pool area for sun worshippers, the lawned area and play
area for children of all ages, the BBQ and bar area for those after a
cool drink.
The plants are very Mediterranean in feel, with many palms and a beautiful Olive tree set in between the BBQ area and pool area.
There are plenty of areas to sit and eat, sit and read, sit and snooze, sit and paint...the list is endless. Even with our largest groups there are always places to get away from the crowd and enjoy total quiet.
Les Roches is set in it's own peaceful valley, so you also get that as your garden, with many guests walking down to the stream that runs through the valley, or playing football on the floodplain. Deer have been spotted several times from the terraces running wild in the valley, although the bottle of champagne is still on offer to anyone who can get a picture of them for us.
